Your CI already ran the tests. This agent goes further: it spins up an isolated Railway sandbox, checks out the Dependabot PR, works out whether the change can even reach your code, then proves your tests would catch it if it did.
In episode two of Building a Software Factory with Mastra, I give the triage agent hands with a Mastra Workspace backed by an ephemeral sandbox where it can clone the repo, run the suite, delete a validation on purpose, and check whether the tests notice. Every pull request gets its own sandbox, so audits run in parallel and the sandbox is destroyed when the audit finishes.
